Power Engineering 7420 Microbicide is a water soluble antimicrobial for the control of bacteria and fungi in open and closed recirculating water systems. It is effective at a wide pH range and is compatible with most treatment formulations. 7420 has proven effective against both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
Application
Follow instructions that are given on the EPA registered product label for proper dosage rates for system conditions.
Dosage
Dosage ranges from 150 to 450 PPM of product dependant upon extent of system fouling and operating criteria.
Feeding
7420 should be fed separate from other treatment formulations. A chemical metering pump should be used to insure a uniform feed rate and mixture. “Slug” feeding is not recommended to minimize product exposure to operating personnel.

Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Service Representative to evaluate the product performance. An analysis of the system water will be conducted and recommendations for any adjustments will be made at the time of each visit.
Additional analyses may be performed in the lab facilities of Power Engineering if required or requested.
