Power Engineering 7407 Microbicide is a water soluble antimicrobial for the control of bacteria, fungi, and algae in open recirculating systems air washers, cooling ponds, fountains and other heat transfer systems. It is effective at a wide pH range and is compatible with most treatment formulations. 7407 has proven effective against algae, fungi and both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Reduces energy consumption by keeping heat transfer surfaces free of biofilm and fouling.

Application

Dosage rates of 7407 product are dependent upon extent of system fouling and operating criteria. Consult the 7407 product label for dosing information to your system.

Feeding

7450 should be fed separate from other treatment formulations. A chemical metering pump should be used to insure a uniform feed rate and mixture. Consult the 7407 product label for proper dosing information.

Service

Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Service Representative to evaluate the product performance. An analysis of the systems water will be conducted and recommendations for any adjustments will be made at the time of each visit.

Additional analyses may be performed in the lab facilities of Power Engineering if required or requested.
