2478 boiler treatment is designed for maximum results in boilers operating up to 50 BHP. The treatment may be fed neat (from the container) or diluted in a mix tank.
As a complete treatment 2478 is designed with the latest polymer technology, incorporating state of the art dispersants, and sludge conditioners for maximum protection of the heat transfer surfaces of the boiler. An oxygen scavenger protects against pitting and general corrosion.
2478 is equally effective in boilers using hard or soft feed water. As a cleaner 2478 can be fed on a maintenance dosage to remove scale deposits remaining from traditional phosphate and polymer treatments.
Dosage
The correct dosage of 2478 is dependent upon the mineral characteristics of the make-up water and operating conditions.
After a careful analysis of all operating parameters, your Power Engineering Company Representative will make the proper dosage recommendations.
Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Company Representative to make complete water tests at your plant. All recommendations and adjustments for correct water treatment will be discussed at the time of each visit.
