Advantages

PECO 3240 is a liquid steam and condensate treatment which minimizes corrosion in steam and condensate return lines in steam boilers. For use in the protection of steam condensate lines in the food industry and most other systems. Minimizes carbonic acid corrosion through formation of a thin molecular film on susceptible metal surfaces
Dosage
Use a dosage of 15 to 20 ppm of PECO 3240 in the steam for start-up of the program. Validation of the correct dosage should be established using condensate iron testing and/or corrosion coupons testing. The exact dosage should be established in cooperation with your Power Engineering technical service representative.
Feeding
Application must be made directly to the steam header with a chemical dosing pump through a stainless steel injection quill.
Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Company Representative to make complete water tests at your plant. All recommendations and adjustments for correct water treatment will be discussed at the time of each visit.
