Power Engineering Product 4961 is a highly active, cooling water treatment. 4961 is designed for use in open circulating cooling systems such as cooling towers, air wash systems, and fluid coolers. 4961 does not require the addition of acid to neutralize the alkalinity. 4961 is effective, when fed at the proper dosage, to protect against both scaling and corrosion.
Application
Power Engineering Product 4961 is fed in sufficient quantities to maintain the residual outlined by your Power Engineering Co. service representative. The correct dosage of 4961 is dependent upon the amount of dissolved solids in the make up water to the cooling system. 4961 is typically fed to the cooling system using a chemical metering pump and conductivity controller. Pumps of standard construction may be utilized to feed 4961.
4961 may be fed in conjunction with other cooling water treatments and does not react adversely with biocides or other dispersants.

Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Service Representative to evaluate the product performance. An analysis of the systems water will be conducted and recommendations for any adjustments will be made at the time of each visit.
Additional analyses may be performed in the lab facilities of Power Engineering if required or requested.
