Power Engineering Product 4730 is a specialty formulated cleaning dispersant for Use in open recirculating cooling water systems. State of the art synthetic nonionic dispersants and unique amines makes PECO 4730 especially effective in cleaning and removing organic and bio-induced deposits. PECO 4730 functions by chemically working into the organic/bio matrix and loosening the deposit. This results in the sloughing off of the deposit. Consistent use of PECO 4730 will control re-deposition and under deposit corrosion. PECO 4730 will aid in the cleaning of heavily fouled systems. PECO 4730 will also help reduce inorganic deposits and corrosion.
Application

Dosage
The PECO 4730 should be fed at a rate of 10-40 ppm two times a week. For systems that are heavily fouled, a slug dose of 60 to 100 ppm should be fed every other day until fouling is under control, then continue with the routine feed rate of 10-40 ppm twice weekly to maintain control of the fouling and bio matrix.
