Power Engineering Product 4981 is a single component liquid water treatment for the control of scale and corrosion in open circulating water systems. Product 4981 has been designed to maintain a maximum level of hardness in the water system, lowering bleed rates and treatment usage.
The use of additional scale control products such as sulfuric acid is not required.
Application
Power Engineering Product 4981 should be fed to the system to maintain a minimum residual of 15 PPM organic in the system. The feed rate will vary according to temperature and volume of the system.
Product 4981 is formulated for feeding directly from the shipping container. It is recommended that 4981 be fed neat to the system for the most effective application.

Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Service Representative to evaluate the product performance. An analysis of the systems water will be conducted and recommendations for any adjustments will be made at the time of each visit.
Additional analyses may be performed in the lab facilities of Power Engineering if required or requested.
