4986 is a single component liquid water treatment for the control of scale and corrosion in open circulating water systems. The 4986 contains a special dye that is detected by a little dipper instrument system, to automatically maintain a steady control of the 4986 in the system Product 4986 has been designed to maintain a maximum level of hardness in the water system, lowering bleed rates and treatment usage.
Application
Power Engineering Product 4986 will be
fed to the system to maintain a minimum residual of 480 ppm of product in the system using the little dipper system.
Product 4986 is formulated for feeding directly from the shipping container. It is recommended that 4986 be fed to the system for the most effective application.

Service
Regular service calls will be made by a Power Engineering Company Representative to evaluate the product performance. An analysis of the systems water will be conducted and recommendations for any adjustments will be made at the time of each visit.
Additional analyses may be performed in the lab facilities of Power Engineering if required or requested.
